Megan Scott got her start in VR at her university, building up the school’s first VR lab and club. She’s a 2018 & 2020 OLP fellow as well as a 2020 AR/VR Development fellow for the Television Academy Foundation. For her senior thesis, she directed & developed the first interactive VR experience, Avion, to be developed at her school leading a crew of over 30. Since, she developed & shipped an AR app on the Google & Apple Store. Currently, she’s working on Hey Pops! which was selected for a grant within the 2020 Oculus Launch Pad program. She’s passionate about empowering women, mental & emotional health, and telling impactful stories.
With that passion she created The Present Company to create narrative experiences with immersive technology and to encourage others to live presently in that space.
The Present Company seeks to empower women and shed light on women working in the fields of games, technology and art. We are passionate about creating empathy through raising awareness of mental & emotional health.
